Hi! It’s Shanna Banana, and as ever my favorite topic is all things love!!!

I have to tell you, I adore Taylor Swift. She’s so inspirational and kind–did you see how she gave advice to a recently-dumped fan on Tumblr?–and to be quite honest I think we are probably sisters separated at birth. Not, you know, physically because she looks like a giraffe-goddess and I look more like a gnome hedgehog, but in terms of souls. Definitely souls.

Anyway, I’ve been listening to a lot of Blank Space lately because that is totally my Lady Jam* Edit: I’ve just been told that this phrase is used in Pitch Perfect for when ladies do finger polka, and I want to clarify that, as much as I do love Taylor Swift and am not averse to an after-4-drinks smooch with a gal pal, that’s not what I meant. * And I’ve found this brilliant cover by Ariana Savalas who has such an amazing voice and is so sexy and just totally gorge. A big shout out to Postmodern Jukebox who do such outstanding vintage covers. I saw them live and I just died from how talented they all are.
